00:00Well, we haven't really been with our team to show any Syracuse yet.
00:04They have it on their iPads.
00:06They certainly will look at it.
00:08I think a year ago that was a unique game in itself, a real low point.
00:14For our team a year ago, real low point, and
00:17not just a low point after the game, I think really before.
00:21I think there were things that we needed to address and we did later.
00:25But I do think any football player is embarrassed by poor performance.
00:31And they want to respond.
00:33They're well aware of what occurred a year ago.
00:35But let me tell you about Syracuse.
00:36Syracuse is a physical, very aggressive football team program, I should say.
00:42So if you want to mix it up, they're the ones to mix it up with and
00:46you have to step your game up when you play Syracuse when it comes to physicality
00:51and effort.
00:53I think that I go straight to the practice field.
00:58If you're gonna be a winner, and it's why only special people win consistently,
01:04it's not just on Saturday.
01:07Learning how to win means you know where the seeds of victory are planted,
01:12is on a practice field, not a game field.
01:15So you go out each day with the same focus.
01:19They are focused, executed reps that leads you to be in a good football team,
01:24that leads you to be in a good football player.
01:27And that's really all it means to me.
01:29I think from a game day perspective, when you're struggling,
01:33maybe one of the biggest issues though is you're gonna give up some big plays.
01:38Things are gonna happen sometimes that aren't good.
01:41You don't want that here we go again mentality to creep in to your team.
01:46Don't let one mistake become two would be what I would say is the game
01:51day operation of learning how to win.
