Duke opens its home season against Boston College on Saturday. The Blue Devils looked good against Notre Dame, but David Cutcliffe says that's not enough. They have to win.

00:00 Our team is week two, you're disappointed.
00:05 Our locker room was a blend of disappointment in South Bend,
00:10 but also of understanding we're different than we were a year ago and we are.
00:15 But to prove it, to prove that we're a good football team,
00:20 you don't prove it by playing well and playing well against a great opponent.
00:27 You prove it by winning.
00:28 And what this team has to do is put the bumps and the bruises behind you.
00:34 The week one to week two improvement is there for you,
00:37 depending upon how much energy you have and the effort you put into the preparation.
00:44 I do think that there's a different feel for our team.
00:48 Now that you've played a game, I think really most of August,
00:51 there were a lot of them that really weren't sure we were gonna play.
00:55 Even on into the first part of the week last week, they were not sure.
01:00 Now that you've played and they're excited about playing and
01:04 we've got an opportunity to get back on the practice field,
01:08 I think our preparation will really be outstanding.
01:13 Boston College, we know very little about new staff, haven't played a game.
01:19 All we can do is do the research, the work, prepare our team as well as we possibly can.
01:25 We know it'll be another physical game against a very physical team,
01:29 both fronts, offensively and defensively with Boston College.
01:33 We do know their personnel is extremely physical.
01:36 They've had a few grad transfers come in there to increase that physicality and
01:41 the defensive front.
01:42 So we're looking forward to another ACC football game.
01:47 Every week you're playing conference football and you better play at a high level.
