00:00 I'm speaking defensively.
00:01 We have a lot of experience.
00:02 I mean, you can see that.
00:04 Guys picking up on the plays quick.
00:05 And also the younger guys know what they're doing.
00:07 So we look fast out there.
00:08 Of course, we look experienced.
00:10 We know what we're doing out there, so we look good.
00:13 We're going to have to play everybody.
00:15 I mean, they all are making strides to play.
00:17 I mean, Anees, Gary, all those guys.
00:21 I mean, Derek and Ben, they're doing a good job.
00:23 You feel me, coaching those young guys.
00:24 And Coach Robert is also doing a good job as a coach.
00:27 So all those guys are picking stuff up fast.
00:29 And we're excited to see them play.
00:31 I mean, the coaches, I mean, they're
00:33 trying to find ways to play us in many different situations.
00:36 So I mean, we really don't know what we're going to do.
00:38 I mean, they're still testing out ideas.
00:41 But I mean, I'm willing to do that.
00:43 I mean, all of us, we're versatile.
00:45 And we can move around all through the D-line.
00:48 I mean, first of all, you've got to start off with Coach Fry,
00:51 the addition of Coach Fry.
00:52 He's doing a great job coaching those guys,
00:54 teaching them new techniques and stuff like that.
00:56 So we've seen the improvement through the camp.
01:01 And they look good as an O-line.
01:03 I mean, we compete every day as an O-line versus D-line.
01:06 And they all look good.
01:07 Of course, Jack was a great leader, a great player.
01:10 But we have the guys to replace him,
01:12 and hopefully do the job that he was able to do.
01:15 I mean, as a Black man, I mean, I just
01:17 have to just continue to learn who I am on this Earth
01:22 and just live the right way.
01:24 I mean, there's a lot going on.
01:25 But I still have to live and just educate the people
01:28 around me.
01:30 If I'm off campus, I've got to do stuff on.
01:32 I mean, nobody sees me as a football player.
01:33 They see me as a Black man.
01:34 So I'm going to be treated differently.
01:36 And I just keep understanding that.
01:39 I mean, still fighting for justice.
01:41 And hopefully, in the future, this stuff
01:43 continues to change.
01:43 It's going to be here for a long time.
01:45 But all we can do is continue to talk about it
01:47 and hopefully inspire one person at a time.
01:50 Yeah, a lot of people, I mean, it starts on campus.
01:52 I mean, as a team, we're doing a great job with that.
01:54 And also, just as an athletic school,
01:58 I mean, you see the basketball team doing stuff,
02:00 the football team doing stuff, the volleyball team.
02:02 So everywhere you go, I mean, you
02:03 see guys and girls talking about this stuff.
02:06 And that's what we need in this world.
02:08 I mean, yeah, we talk to all the athletes.
02:10 I mean, we had a couple of Zoom meetings talking about it.
02:12 But I mean, it started--
02:15 we really focused on football.
02:17 Like, what can we do as a football team?
02:19 And that was our biggest focus point.
02:21 And we were able to talk about it, do stuff about it,
02:24 find ways to help the communities in the future,
02:27 and just keep talking about it and educating people about it.
