00:00 >> I'll probably say for myself right now, I'm really just focused on playing.
00:05 It's been obviously, what, five, six months since we last played a game.
00:11 We got shut down as we were obviously getting ready to leave for our game,
00:14 our first ACC game.
00:16 And as a freshman, that kind of hurts.
00:17 That kind of stings a little bit to kind of get your first year taken away from you
00:21 when we had a chance to do something really special, I felt.
00:24 So first and foremost, that's what I'm more focused on is playing.
00:28 The money will come later, and obviously if I'm good enough,
00:30 I'll have an opportunity to go make my own money someday.
00:34 So right now I'm just focused on playing basketball.

00:39 The six new freshmen we have are, in my eyes, second to none.
00:42 We have versatility, one through all six of them.
00:46 And Patrick, even though he's not a freshman, he's considered a new guy here.
00:50 And he's obviously a big piece of what we're hoping to do here too.
00:54 So those seven guys have been coming around really well.
00:58 They've been getting better every day.
00:59 They come here to work, and ultimately they all make our team better.
01:03 And from a leadership standpoint, like you said,
01:06 I mean, even though I'm only a sophomore here, I've been here for a year.
01:10 I know how the system works, I know the things we do behind the scenes.
01:14 So just hoping all those guys get comfortable,
01:16 especially in an uncomfortable time like this.
01:18 I'll probably say the biggest thing for me wasn't so
01:22 much like my physical abilities or my ball handling, my shooting, my dribbling.
01:29 I think for me, it was more of a mindset thing.
01:31 Just getting into my own headspace where I can ultimately play the game
01:37 how I wanna play, at my speed, at my pace.
01:41 Just developing a confidence that I felt that I was missing last season,
01:44 ultimately to make me a better player in the long run.
01:47 Thank you.
