00:00I definitely know a lot about John Thompson.
00:02He's super influential in the DMV area,
00:05but also across the country and across the world.
00:08You know, being that, you know,
00:09one of the first African-American coaches
00:11to win a, you know, a D1 championship
00:14was just unbelievable.
00:15But I actually had a coach by the name of Robert Churchill.
00:19We actually played under him when I was at Benedictine.
00:22He was my head coach.
00:23And a ton of his quotes,
00:25he used almost every day during practice.
00:27And he just instilled,
00:30he instilled this hunger in the guys.
00:32And he always had this love for them at the same time, too,
00:35that, you know, even though he was a coach,
00:37he had this, you know, hate-love relationship with the guys.
00:41And I just thought it was unbelievable.
00:42It was somebody that, you know,
00:43my parents have always talked to me about
00:45and who my parents are always big fans of, too.
00:49A lot.
00:50I think the media team is doing a great job
00:52of kind of pushing our message, you know,
00:54showing, you know, how easy it is to actually,
00:56you know, get registered to vote.
00:58You know, something that I was, you know,
00:59I was kind of shocked, but I was like, five minutes.
01:04Dang, it's that easy.
01:05So I think, you know, just continue to, like,
01:08you know, push that perspective and push, you know,
01:10how easy it is to vote
01:11and how much that your vote truly does matter.
