00:00Normally, we do an event every year.
00:03It normally be a back to school book bag giveaway.
00:06But due to the pandemic and everything that's going on with COVID-19,
00:10we switched gears this year.
00:12And I've redirected the funds towards the hospital to recognize them,
00:17to show our appreciation for their continued work and
00:20dedication to the fight against COVID-19.
00:23What does it mean to you that people see you?
00:27It means a lot, we always see it, as you saw in the video.
00:30We always want to give back to the community, if we made it big or whatever.
00:34And this is an opportunity to give back to the hospital that he was actually born at.
00:42Now, this is UNC Memorial's biggest gift they've received.
00:46How does that make you feel, knowing that it's coming from your family?
00:52It's not really the price tag on it.
00:55I mean, it was an $85,000 gift, but
00:58it really didn't mean anything as far as being a particular price tag.
01:03What it meant to us was the fact that it touched so many people.
01:08They showed their appreciation coming out and just squinching heat.
01:14What they're fighting against each and every day, going home,
01:19being away from their own family, and dealing with the COVID-19 victims.
01:24It meant a lot just to be able to give back to this particular venue.
01:28And I know Brandon himself can't be here today, but
01:31what would you say he would be here saying today?
01:35Well, I've already talked to him, and we was thinking that he could get a video, but
01:39they're really tied up in the bubble.
01:41But he did say that he wanted to show his appreciation and
01:45thank everyone for coming out, and I hope they enjoyed it here.
01:48So he kept it short and sweet.
