Duke's Drew Jordan on preparing for an uncertain season
Duke defensive end Drew Jordan said that the team is busy preparing for its season and, "we don't care what the Big Ten is doing," as football holds its breath waiting to see if there will be a season.

00:00You know, what's been going on in the world of college football, you know, it's crazy
00:04here on our end, but, you know, at practice, we're just focusing on playing and doing what
00:09we have to do to get better for this season.
00:13Yeah, you know, it's, everybody's going to see what's going on in college football, but
00:20I think that we're really focused on the goal of going down and winning an ACC championship,
00:25and that's what we've been sticking to since we've been here on campus.
00:30You know, we're not worried about Big Ten or Pac-12, we're worried about ACC football,
00:35so that's what we're going to continue to do moving forward.
00:41First and foremost, we have a great medical staff here, so they're, you know, doing a
00:45great job of wiping things down, keeping everything clean for us, and us as players, we're walking
00:51around with masks on, we're socially distancing, we're really trying to create a bubble within
00:58our program, so that's how we've been functioning since we've been on campus, and once other
01:04students arrive here on campus as well, we're going to continue those mandates.
01:09Yeah, I think that it's more that we're in support of playing, you know, we all want
01:15to, we've been working very hard to get to this point of camp, and, you know, that's
01:20what we want to do moving forward, is just play football.
01:24Yeah, like I was saying before, we have the greatest medical staff here in the country
01:30at Duke, and we also have the greatest medical school here at Duke, so they've been doing
01:35a great job of testing and the protocols that we have to follow.
01:40An example would be, let's say we go into the training room and somebody is using a
01:45foam roll, we do a great job of wiping those things down with bleach, and so that's mandated
01:51by us as players, and we just continue that moving forward.
01:55Yeah, no, we haven't had any other complications.

02:06we're going to wear our masks, we're going to try and create that inner bubble within
02:10Duke football because we all want to play here, so.
