00:00 We got to break in a new punter and a new place kicker.
00:03 I'm glad that they were here, registered a year ago.
00:05 They know our system.
00:07 Kirk Benedict's done a phenomenal job.
00:10 Not enough is said about him
00:12 as a special teams coordinator.
00:14 I call him Captain Benedict.
00:16 That's his platoon, his special teams, you know.
00:20 If you don't know, he served two tours in Afghanistan
00:23 as a combat platoon commander.
00:26 So he's a perfect fit in that role.
00:29 And I really like Charlie and Porter.
00:31 We got our deep snappers back.
00:33 We got our holder back.
00:35 We got some return people.
00:36 Damon Johnson may break all kind of records.
00:39 Damon Filial Johnson may break all kinds of records.
00:44 So as a return man.
00:47 So if I sound enthused about this team, I am.
00:51 We got to stay healthy, you know.
00:55 And that's maybe the biggest challenge
00:58 Putting a practice schedule usually would take me maybe,
01:01 I don't know, five minutes.
01:05 Now it takes me an hour and a half
01:07 to think through all of the ramifications that go with it.
01:10 Contingency planning for if you lose guys
01:15 to injury or COVID-19 testing.
01:18 It's endless when you start digging the hole,
01:23 you know, how deep it can get.
01:27 But I've always been a believer in the contingency testing.
01:32 I mean, the contingency thought process.
01:35 And so I think we've got a good plan
01:37 across the board in that regard.
