00:00 You know, it's really hard when you scrimmage yourself.
00:05 You know, you're not scrimmaging somebody else
00:07 and trying to focus, okay, what on the white.
00:10 Boy, that was great, but, oh, bum.
00:12 The guy on the blue team did a sorry job,
00:14 so I don't know if the offensive play was that good
00:17 or the defense was that bad.
00:19 But we just needed to get out in front of officials
00:21 because we're going to set a world record
00:23 on number of fouls,
00:24 and I'm hopeful that the officials will call more fouls
00:27 and my coaches, assistant coaches, doing practice.
00:31 But it does work them a little bit, too.
00:32 I mean, they're out there, and we went 20 minutes
00:34 and took a five-minute break and went 20 more minutes.
00:38 We stopped several times just trying to get points across.
00:41 But I think the rebounding, I mean,
00:44 our big guys are going to the backboards,
00:46 and I'd say that that's the one thing
00:48 that's been more encouraging and more consistent
00:52 than anything else that we've done.
00:55 But we're not thinking about that at all.
00:56 I mean, it's going to be different
00:57 walking out that tunnel, you know,
00:59 and all of our former players talk about the thrill
01:01 of running through the tunnel
01:03 and hearing the fans, seeing all the blue.
01:05 And so that part's going to be different.
01:07 But we haven't prepared for that at all.
01:12 We've tried to prepare to do the things
01:14 between the lines that we can control
01:16 and provide our own enthusiasm.
01:18 And does it make enough difference to you?
01:22 If it's important enough to you,
01:24 then you're not going to be concerned
01:25 about those other things.
01:26 And that's the way we've tried to attack it.
01:28 But we had music going last night,
01:31 and the only thing is during our screamings
01:33 of just our own team, I like to stand up and coach.
01:36 I had to tell them to shut the daggum stuff down
01:37 so I could coach a little bit.
