00:04 All right, Jeremiah, thanks for joining us.
00:05 We will begin with Greg Barnes.
00:07 So Greg, go ahead.
00:08 >> Jeremiah, what was Virginia Tech able to do there in the third quarter to kind of
00:13 spark their offense?
00:15 >> I think the QB run game played a huge factor in the game.
00:20 Our safety is coming down and trying to fit up the run and
00:23 try to get that extra run fitter in there.
00:25 And I think they were so worried about coming in or
00:27 fitting the run that they were starting to throw balls over our heads.
00:30 And you can see that in the third quarter.
00:32 >> And what does it say about this team that each of these three games that you've
00:35 won, you've kind of had to win in different ways?
00:37 >> I'm sorry, you can repeat that one more time.
00:40 >> What does it say about this team that you've been able to win each of these
00:43 first three games, the fact that you've had to win them in different ways?
00:47 >> I think it just shows that how good we can really be.
00:54 We really haven't put a full game together, I think, offensively or
00:56 defensively.
00:57 I mean, you can see the first two weeks, defense played pretty good.
01:01 And then this week, the defense didn't play too good, but
01:03 the offense came out and showed out the whole game.
01:08 And I think if we put those two things together,
01:10 I think we'll be a dangerous football team.
01:13 >> Thanks, Jeremiah.
01:13 >> Let's go over to Jared Fialco.
01:18 >> Jeremiah, Deami just talked about the difference,
01:24 even 7% capacity fans made today, and I know that's less than 4,000 or so.
01:29 But still, I'm curious, in what ways do you notice fans,
01:33 fan noise that was different than the first go around when it's just piped in?
01:37 >> I mean, you can't really describe it.
01:40 I mean, there's just a totally different atmosphere when you have people out there.
01:44 I mean, the first two weeks, I mean, playing at home, we didn't have anybody.
01:47 Then we went to Boston College, I expected them to have some type of fans, and
01:50 they didn't have anybody either.
01:51 So I mean, just to have 3,000, 4,000 people out there in the student section,
01:56 I mean, you have atmosphere that we haven't had all season.
01:59 All the people on the team enjoyed it, and
02:01 I think it helped our sideline energy the whole game too.
02:03 >> All right, let's go over to Andrew Jones.
02:07 >> Hey, Jeremiah, what did you guys miss the most not having Ray out there today,
02:14 up front?
02:18 >> I think just his point of attack and how well he knows the defense.
02:24 He's an older guy, he played a lot of snaps last year.
02:25 So I mean, when he's out there and I have to make all the calls with the D line,
02:28 sometimes he's out there being vocal and helping the D line out there too.
02:33 And I think that's something we kind of missed this week,
02:35 cuz Tamari's not used to playing the nose guard position at all.
02:38 And but we know he was able and
02:40 had the capability of playing nose guard, so we moved him there.
02:43 So I mean, I think that's what we missed from Ray.
02:45 I mean, he's a vocal leader on the defensive line.
02:48 I think that's something we really missed this game.
02:50 >> Thank you, appreciate it.
02:51 >> All right, Jeremiah, that's all we got for you today.
02:55 Thank you.
02:56 >> All right, thank you, y'all go on.
