00:00Hey, I've watched them now for two weeks,
00:02so I can kind of just go through it.
00:04I do this every day,
00:06but I think we can be really good at wide receiver.
00:09And I won't use the word great because that's to be determined,
00:13but we're really good.
00:15We're really good at quarterback.
00:16We've got to we don't have a lot of experience
00:19because of Jason and Jacoby at backup quarterback,
00:22so we need experience there.
00:24So we're really talking about depth at every position.
00:27I think we'll have depth at wide receiver.
00:30And we've got the older guys.
00:32Excuse me, Greg, we've got to figure out
00:33who the younger guys behind them are.
00:35Running back, we're really good.
00:37We've got to find a third one.
00:39But we've got two really good running backs.
00:41Offensive line, we're talking about today,
00:43I think all five of them, they've been with Stacey a year.
00:46They've been with Phil in this offense.
00:49They're really good.
00:51So we think they can get better, but we've got to find five more,
00:55and that's really, really important as we're going forward.
00:58Tied in, Garrett Walston is the only one that's really played.
01:01So Kamari Morales is young.
01:04Then you've got the two freshmen that just got here
01:06and don't have any experience,
01:07so that's a question mark for us.
01:09Garrett's got to carry that load,
01:11and Kamari's got to come on until the young ones can come.
01:15Defensively, I really like what I see in the secondary.
01:19Boy, from last year where we had injuries and no depth
01:22and really struggled, and it kept Coach Bateman
01:25from calling a lot of the defenses we wanted to,
01:29we look really good in the secondary.
01:31And then you add Tony Grimes to that.
01:33I'm sitting there looking at it the other day,
01:34and I thought, oh, and we got Tony.
01:36I forgot about Tony because he wasn't supposed
01:37to be here until January.
01:39So I think the secondary can be really special.
01:41And then how many do you play, and do some become nickels,
01:45and you play one less linebacker?
01:49The linebackers, you've got the two
01:51that played all the time back, and they're really good.
01:55What you've got to do is make sure that Cadre Jackson
01:59and Asante, those guys, Eugene Asante, get ready to go.
02:05They need to play more because I'd love to play
02:07too deep across the board.
02:09And then up front where you lose a guy like Strowbridge,
02:12you've still got Fox.
02:13Hopper looks really good if we can keep him healthy.
02:16Chris Collins, red-shirted, he's looking good.
02:19You've got all the young ones that can mix in there
02:22and see how they do.
02:24We won't know about them until we really get in pads.
02:26They can run. They look pretty.
02:28And then inside, you've got a lot of different combinations.
02:31Tamari Fox played well.
02:33Ray Vajasic played really, really well
02:35at the end of the year.
02:36Jalil Taylor did some outstanding things.
02:38We like Kristen Varner.
02:39You've got Zach Gill.
02:41So you've got enough guys in there that we think that we
02:46think we have a chance to be good.
02:48We just have to live up to it.
02:50Then you've got Noah Ruggles from last year as your kicker,
02:54but you've also got Grayson Atkins coming in.
02:57He's an All-American from Furman.
02:59Ben Curran should be much better as a punter
03:03because he showed signs of brilliance at times last year.
03:06And you've got both your snappers back.
03:08So we've got to do a better job in punt, block, and return.
03:13We did okay in punt, but we didn't get anything
03:15out of our punt, block, and return team.
03:18Kickoff return was good.
03:19Kickoff coverage was fine, but that punt return team,
03:24punt, block team has got to be big for us,
03:26and it wasn't last year.
03:28And when you've got a returner like Daz Newsome,
