Idan Cohen's Garden-Inspired Collections at New York Bridal Fashion Week Spring 2025

Idan Cohen presented two collections, Idan and Idan Atelier at New York Bridal Fashion Week earlier this month. The Israeli designer told us his inspiration was flowers from gardens he has visited in his travels. The silhouettes ranged from mermaid to ballgowns with corsets, open backs and A-line cuts. Cohen showcased his specialty handmade beading, but there was also lace and solid fabrics. 'It's sexy but it's still elegant and modest,' Cohen said of his latest designs.

00:00Hi, my name is Idan Cohen and you watch Live Minute TV.
00:08So actually tonight I'm going to present two collections. One is Idan and Idan Atelier.
00:13My inspiration for the collection is floral, leaves, flowers. We have like a mermaid silhouette,
00:19splattering the body, corsets,
00:22open backs,
00:24A-line, ball gowns.
00:30I
00:42love gardens. When I'm traveling around the world, I always go to see like all the gardens.
00:47So I have a lot of pictures, some drawings that I draw. I took this inspiration to create this
00:53collection and I combine it of course with my sexy look, but still it's sexy.
00:59But it's still elegant and modest.
01:04My specialty since the beginning that I started, it's handmade beading.
01:10So you're gonna see like beading, but also some laces, some solid fabrics, and it's a variety of things.
01:18Every woman wants to emphasize the right places in her body. So I try to keep it right for her.
