The Indians "summer camp" continued on Monday with another scrimmage between teammates at Progressive Field. Adam Plutko took the bump for the home team Tribe against Zach Plesac for the visitors. The young players got a chance to shine as well as one utility man who normally doesn't hit the long ball much in Mike Freeman, who hit two homers off Plutko in the 8-3 visitors win.

00:04It was an inner squad scrimmage on Monday evening at Progressive Field behind me as
00:08the visiting Indians took on the hometown Tribe, and it was an 8-3 win for the visitors.
00:13Zach Plisak was the pitcher for the visiting Tribe, and he fared very well using all of
00:17his pitches and getting the job done.
00:19It looks like Plisak, for now, is slated to be in the number four or five hole in the
00:23rotation.
00:24One pitcher who didn't pitch so well was starter Adam Plutko.
00:28Plutko out of the gates allowed three runs in the first inning, including a two-run home
00:31run to Mike Freeman, who hit two home runs off of Plutko.
00:35One to straightaway center, and his next at bat he hit one to right field.
00:39Plutko probably will end up in the bullpen as the Indians' long man.
00:43It was a night also for the visitors, as it was a night of young players getting a chance
00:48to play.
00:49Guys like Bobby Bradley, Nolan Jones, who hit a home run, Cam Hill out of the bullpen,
00:53and others finally got a chance to get in and play a game at Progressive Field.
00:57Most of these players have been working out in Eastlake at Classic Park.
01:01For now, though, the inter-squad scrimmages continue for the Tribe.
01:04They'll play one on Tuesday evening.
01:05They also announced today that they'll play three games against the Pittsburgh Pirates
01:09coming up, starting on Saturday, with two games in Pittsburgh and a game a week from
01:13tonight, Monday night, the 20th, in Cleveland.
