On Wednesday the punishment for the Red Sox organization was handed down by the MLB commissioner. While no players or Alex Cora were implicated in the findings from the investigation. However, a replay operator, J.T. Watkins, was implicated. The Red Sox have been docked a second-round pick and Watkins has been suspended through the 2020 postseason. Alex Cora has already been suspended through the 2020 postseason.

00:24 The report determined that Watkins acted as a rogue employee and stated, "Many players
00:29 told investigators that they were unaware that in-game sign decoding from the replay
00:33 station had been prohibited in 2018 and 2019."
00:38 Now Cora is not without punishment though.
00:40 The former Red Sox manager has been banned from Major League Baseball through 2020's playoffs,
00:45 but only for his conduct with the Astros, as Commissioner Rob Manfred said that Cora
00:51 played a significant role in devising Houston's illegal sign stealing.
