The Indians have one of the top power hitting players in the minors in Bobby Bradley. Last season he had a cup of coffee at the Major League level with mixed results, but in 2020 when the season finally gets going, the Tribe should do whatever they can to give him an extended look at the Major League level

00:03The Cleveland Indians have yet to play a game in 2020 and are hoping to do so sooner rather
00:08than later.
00:09They do have some question marks still and when they finally get ready to take the field,
00:13manager Terry Francona will have to decide if 24-year-old slugger Bobby Bradley is ready
00:17for the big time or not.
00:19You may remember Bradley from last season.
00:21He had a cup of coffee with the Tribe at the Major League level.
00:24He played in 15 games with 49 at-bats.
00:26The problem was he struck out 20 times.
00:29He did hit one home run and drove in four runs with an average of .178.
00:33The Indians clearly knew that he wasn't ready for the big time last year and sent him back
00:36to Columbus where he looked like an all-time slugger.
00:40In 107 games and 453 at-bats, he hit 33 home runs with 74 runs batted in and an average
00:46of .264.
00:48The problem?
00:49Once again, the strikeouts.
00:50Bradley struck out 153 times last year, too many for a Tribe lineup that's already going
00:56to feature some guys that do strike out a lot such as Domingo Santana and Fran Milreis
01:01who's expected to be the big slugger.
01:03Hopefully Carlos Santana can continue to do his job and drive in runs over at first base.
01:10Hitting .200 this postseason, half delivering, Santana swinging, sends a liner, deep left
01:17field, this ball is gone!
01:22Nevertheless, injuries could force Bradley to be at the Major League level at some point.
01:26For Cleveland Baseball Insider, I'm Matt Lodi.
