00:00 Nick Gallo, KC Thunder dot com. What do you think? Just of kind of the fight,
00:03 the scrap that you all were able to show tonight, particularly in contrast
00:08 to maybe the last couple of games, you all seem to really be able to bring it
00:10 for the full 48 minutes. I thought the first couple of minutes was kind of
00:14 shaky. But after that, I felt like we competed the rest of the night and
00:19 gave ourselves a good chance to win.
00:21 What were just some of the challenges with that team? Given their size, the
00:27 paint in the offensive class was obviously tough tonight. Yeah, that was
00:31 definitely a key trying to keep them off the glass. Adams and Clark and
00:36 those big guys. But, um, you know, we just got to be a little bit more
00:40 physical and more tough.
00:42 Pierce Lawson, okay, see thunder dot com. Obviously you found some rhythm
00:47 offensively knocking it down from from behind the arc. Coach mentioned that
00:51 you know you've been playing with a lot of aggression and getting a lot of
00:53 shots up. How have you been able to find your looks when you're out there
00:57 offensively? Really? Just being ready to shoot and finding open windows. Um, I
01:02 got a great playmaking teammates and Shay and Teo and Basley and you know,
01:06 everybody, they're the ones that give me the shots. I'm just an open area
01:10 ready to shoot. So shout out to them. Has that kind of been your mentality
01:15 with these extended minutes, especially over these past couple of games to go
01:18 out there and play aggressively and look for those opportunities? Yeah,
01:22 coaching staff keeps telling me play aggressive, stay aggressive whether I'm
01:25 making shots or missing shots. You know, they keep staying in my ear about
01:29 keep shooting, keep staying aggressive. Um, you know, I can only help the team.
01:33 Joe Masato, the Oklahoma and Lindy. I think your first couple threes tonight
01:38 you got guys in the air. Defenders are closing out hard on you as you start to
01:42 like show up on opposing scouting reports. Are you starting toe notice
01:46 that a little bit that guys are closing out hard on you and you can sort of
01:49 take advantage of that by keeping them off balance there? Most definitely. And
01:53 uh, it's kind of a trend when I was in the G League. It was like that too. I
01:58 started out just catching and shooting the ball, started making shots and
02:02 uh, good volume. And then once I started showing up on the scouting report, guys
02:06 started trying to run me off the line. So I worked on my flybys, my pump face,
02:11 things like that. I worked on that in the G League and then now it's just
02:15 translating over. So
02:16 shout out to the G. Just want to get your thoughts on. Um, now that you've
02:22 played with Shay a little bit, just what's your perspective on? Um, just
02:26 what he's like as an offensive player, what it's like to be his teammate and
02:29 just how effectively he scores the ball. Um, you know, he's a fantastic
02:34 playmaker. He's really slithery getting downhill and finishing really crafty
02:40 going both ways. And uh, for me to be able to space the floor for him just
02:45 makes it a lot easier. Um, so whatever I can do to help my team, that's what
02:50 I'm gonna do.
02:50 Yeah.
02:51 Sorry. One more just about the pump fakes, the flybys pregame. You were
02:58 practicing like all of those scenarios. You just tell me a little bit about
03:03 about that preparation pregame and how good it feels to to be working on that.
03:06 And then 20 minutes later when the game is going, you're getting that getting
03:09 those types of looks. Yeah, I think it's important to be intentional and your
03:14 preparation. So during my pregame, just going through any type of situation
03:19 that I might be in in a game, whether I get it in the game or not, just being
03:23 ready. I think that's important.
03:25 Thank you guys.
