00:00 >> Yeah, the second half kind of went on, they kind of started to,
00:04 they got to the paint, they got to the free throw line a lot easier.
00:09 And then the guys made shots, they made some big time threes.
00:13 Giannis got going, he got going to the free throw line, and
00:16 we started packing the paint a little bit more.
00:18 And his teammates started knocking down shots.
00:21 So like you said, we scored I think 112 or 110.
00:26 Like on most nights, I'd be good enough to be very competitive, but
00:30 they're rolling right now.
00:31 >> On the offensive side, Shea had a career high in assists.
00:35 Wasn't just him though, you all were moving the ball well.
00:37 What did you like best about just the offensive rhythm?
00:40 >> Yeah, I mean, going into the game, that was a big emphasis from the coaching
00:43 staff was to not let the ball stick.
00:46 Keep the ball moving, keep the ball ahead of the defense.
00:49 And we did a good job of doing that for most of the night.
00:51 And that's a reason we were able to stay in the game for
00:55 as long as we did.
00:56 And then later in the game, we kind of went away from that,
00:58 kind of let the ball stick a little bit too much.
01:00 And Milwaukee has a good defense, so it's hard to score against a team like that.
01:05 >> Paris Lawson, OKC Thunder.com.
01:08 This isn't your first time going up against Milwaukee and Giannis Tendekumbo, but
01:13 for several guys on your team, it was like Olivier Sarr and
01:16 some young guy, Lindy Waters as well.
01:18 Just what are some of the takeaways from going up against a team like this,
01:22 where the margin for error is really, really low?
01:24 You guys shot it really well, but obviously they outmatched you.
01:27 What are some of those takeaways that you can pull from this one?
01:30 >> Yeah, I mean, when you play a team like that, obviously defending world champs,
01:33 you gotta be able to take them out of what they wanna do.
01:37 You gotta be able to make multiple efforts.
01:39 Tonight, I think we're just a step late on a few multiple efforts as far as being
01:43 a help on Giannis and then closing out to your man.
01:46 So you gotta really execute against a team like that if you want a chance to win,
01:50 just because just with the level of skill they have right now,
01:54 they're able to maybe not play as hard and still get away with some things.
01:58 So when you play a team like that, you really gotta be locked in at all times.
02:02 >> Interesting, I thought I'd kind of following up on that.
02:06 What's it like to prepare for Giannis and Middleton and Holiday?
02:11 >> Yeah, I mean, that trio is one of the best trio's in the NBA.
02:15 It's very tough.
02:16 Obviously, Giannis is one on one and for him, you gotta be able to take him out of
02:21 what he wants to do, which is get to the rim, get to the foul line.
02:25 Tonight, he made a lot of threes tonight.
02:27 I think he made three or four threes.
02:28 When he's doing that, it's tough to stop.
02:31 And then Middleton, obviously, he's a tough shot maker.
02:35 So I think those guys just had a little bit too easy sometimes tonight.
02:37 And I think we didn't do too good of a job of getting them out of their first option.
02:45 >> You were out the last game.
02:46 How do you feel physically tonight?
02:48 >> I felt really good tonight.
02:50 I felt some back tightness last couple days.
02:54 And tonight, once I got going, I felt really good out there and
02:58 I still feel pretty good and looking forward to playing tomorrow.

03:04 >> Joe Masato, the Oklahoman.
03:06 Isaiah, it's becoming a routine at this point, but
03:08 Shea had another really big night, 33 points, 14 assists.
03:12 Just the run he's been on since the All-Star break, can you sort of put that
03:16 in perspective and maybe just the level he's playing at?
03:20 >> Yeah, I mean, obviously he was injured.
03:22 He was injured but going into the All-Star break.
03:24 And I mean, everybody who plays basketball knows when you're injured,
03:28 you just wanna just get back out there.
03:30 You're just itching and you're just thinking about, man,
03:33 if I was out there, I could be doing this.
03:34 And he's the type of guy who you have to kinda keep off the court when he's injured.
03:40 He's in there trying to still get up shots and the training staff is obviously
03:44 making sure he's getting healthy before he's back out there.
03:47 But I know when he got healthy, he's gonna come back with a vengeance.
03:50 And he's been, like you said, he's been very high since he came back.
03:54 And I think he's just gonna continue doing that.
