00:00🎵
00:14Good morning, Elle.
00:15Are you ready to spend the day with me?
00:17🎵
00:20Oh, Zephy! Zephy!
00:22Oh, morning kisses?
00:23Zephy? Morning kissy?
00:25This is my wake-up call.
00:27I'm in LA right now.
00:28I'm doing promo this week
00:31for my new presidency
00:33in Las Vegas.
00:35Kiss, kiss.
00:36Mmm, thank you, baby.
00:37Alright, let's go!
00:39🎵
00:43So I'm getting ready for some meetings today
00:45here in LA, and
00:47I'm going to just walk you through
00:49my five-minute makeup routine.
00:52The quick put-on-and-go kind of stuff.
00:54I start with
00:56my highlighter.
00:58Go here, here, here, here.
01:02I'll come back to that in a minute.
01:04Do this.
01:06And this preps
01:08my eyes for some shadow.
01:11I use two colors normally.
01:13These two, they're kind of like
01:15tawny, rusty colors.
01:17And I think they're kind of natural-looking,
01:19so I like to use those.
01:20I use this one more on the outside.
01:23Now I'm going to smooth it over
01:25with a lighter color.
01:27This one here, to blend.
01:28It's like a blushy color,
01:29and it just kind of
01:31blends
01:33those together.
01:38So I stick with the blushy
01:40tones for my eyes.
01:44Then I go to
01:46a bit of liner.
01:48Black.
01:50I get into the corner.
01:54There's a lot of times when I've got to
01:56do my own touch-ups
01:58where I'm just on my own,
02:00and I have to learn how to do this myself.
02:02So I've learned a lot from makeup artists
02:04over the years, obviously.
02:05I've learned a lot about what's appropriate
02:06during the day and what's appropriate
02:07during the night.
02:08This is my day meeting,
02:10date camera,
02:11everything-goes kind of look.
02:13Okay?
02:16So,
02:18this, I'm not going to use a foundation.
02:20This is going to give me a smooth,
02:22it's just a powder
02:24with a bit of
02:26pigment, a very light pigment
02:28to match my face.
02:30And this is just going to
02:32help my blush go on smoothly.
02:34Okay?
02:36I'm going to just
02:38define my brows a bit.
02:42Now I'm pretty fast at this.
02:43It does take maybe a bit more practice,
02:45and it may take you a few more minutes.
02:47Now,
02:49this is like one of my favorite things, okay?
02:51So often I use
02:53lipstick for blush.
02:55I like one with a bit of a shimmer to it,
02:57and I hope you can see as this
02:59goes on, it's, it's
03:01gives me color.
03:05And I also put this up
03:07on my hairline.
03:13But I look kind of blushy, and I look
03:15I guess dewy.
03:17Dewy's the right word.
03:21I would choose a lipstick that
03:23looks great in the middle of your lip.
03:27You've got to match your skin tone.
03:29Whatever would make you look like you've just been
03:31in the sun a little bit.
03:33And then,
03:35the finishing touch,
03:37this
03:39is one of my absolute favorite things to do.
03:41So, I put
03:43lip gloss that's got
03:45shimmer in it.
03:47And not a lot of pigment at all, okay?
03:49And the idea is to put it
03:51right where your crow's feet are.
03:53Well, that's if you have crow's feet, of course.
03:57I know that there's a lot of, like, cream
03:59shimmers and stuff on the market, but this,
04:01I don't know, there's just something really special
04:03about it, makes you look really dewy and fresh.
04:07Okay, well,
04:09the face is ready to
04:11go.
04:13And this is second day hair,
04:15so I might
04:17just spray it a little bit or run
04:19a bit of water through it.
04:21Second day hair is the best.
04:23It's already got the product in it and then
04:25I'll just, you know, I can normally run
04:27through it with a little bit of water and a good
04:29brushing. But I just realized one last thing.
04:31Once I let my hair down in the morning,
04:33this is a trick that I
04:35love. So, because I didn't wear
04:37foundation and
04:39very little powder, if I
04:41want to define my cheekbones,
04:43I will take my highlight
04:45and I will do that.
04:49And that just kind of naturally
04:51highlights that cheekbone a bit.
04:53And then if you want it to stay more,
04:55depending on what you're doing and where you're going,
04:57you can always use, like,
04:59a loose finishing powder
05:03to keep everything from moving
05:05too much, but I kind of like the dewy look.
05:09Music
05:13Well, before I leave,
05:15I always need to have a nice cup of hot tea.
05:17Gets a little bit of the rasp out of my
05:19voice. As you can tell,
05:21I have lots of it in the morning.
05:23I like Earl Grey tea because
05:25it tastes good.
05:29I do it real light, so I take the tea bag
05:31out early.
05:33I like Ricola.
05:35That kind of
05:37just
05:39lubricates my throat.
05:41And follow that with a little bit of tea.
05:47And then it just all starts loosening up.
05:49It's, you know, it's saffi me and tea.
05:51Every morning, a bit of Ricola,
05:53and I'm good to start the day.
05:57Well, thanks so much for spending the morning with me.
05:59I will see you in Las Vegas.
