The Raptors' growth from Serge Ibaka and Terence Davis showed against the Houston Rockets and should prove helpful in the playoffs

00:00Wasn't it nice to have basketball back last night?
00:03Sure, it wasn't the greatest basketball we've ever seen, but it was basketball.
00:08And that's gotta count for something.
00:10There were a few things I took away from last night's game against the Rockets.
00:14For one, Serge Ibaka's three-point stroke has come a long way this season.
00:19He's shooting nearly 40% from behind the arc this year.
00:22That's over 10% better than last year, and you could tell last night that opposing teams
00:27are being forced to defend him differently.
00:29I was also impressed by Terence Davis' game last night.
00:33He scored 15 points and wasn't afraid to take and make shots with the team's second
00:38unit.
00:39With Patrick McCaw out last night resting, Davis certainly showed that he deserves more
00:44minutes as the team's eighth man when the playoffs roll around.
00:47Lastly, last night's game was a matchup between the Rockets, who take the most corner
00:52threes in the NBA, and the Raptors, who allow the most corner threes in the NBA.
00:57Houston put up 21 corner threes last night, and they would have gotten away with it if
01:02Ben McElmore didn't go 1-for-6 on his corner threes.
01:06The Raptors will now have the day off before returning to the court tomorrow for their
01:10second scrimmage game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
