00:00 LeBron James is arguably the best passing forward in NBA history. He's been
00:06 able to do things with the ball like few other players we've ever seen and part
00:10 of what makes him so special is the way he's able to collapse opposing defenses
00:15 just enough to make kick out passes to his fellow teammates. So when a reporter
00:20 asked Toronto Raptors star Pascal Siakam if he's ever studied James's tape to
00:25 improve his passing ability, Siakam took it personally. "Thanks for the input," Siakam
00:31 said. "I might go and do that now." To Siakam, it was like asking Beethoven if
00:36 he'd ever listened to Mozart. Of course Siakam has watched tape of James's
00:40 passing ability because to make the kind of improvement Siakam has made lately,
00:44 you need to study everybody's tape. "I've watched everyone," Siakam said. "I think I
00:50 can learn from anybody." Improving his passing ability as the focal point of
00:55 the Raptors offense is one of the few hurdles Siakam still has to overcome to
00:59 reach superstar status. He'll need to nail down that kind of penetrate kick out
01:04 James has become so good at over the years. And while he'll probably never
01:08 reach King James's level of passing ability, you can rest assured knowing
01:12 he's not going to stop trying.
