00:00The other day, I was near my school and I had to go into the school to get something.
00:14And when I came outside, there were some cops there in the parking lot.
00:17They stay there sometimes just to look around and like, you know, I found myself like, sort
00:24of like, you know, checking myself, making sure that I'm not doing nothing wrong.
00:28What am I wearing?
00:29And like, maybe I should take my hat off and maybe it was raining.
00:33So maybe I should take my my hoodie off.
00:35And just, you know, you're kind of on edge of what potentially could happen in a, you
00:41know, a private place.
00:47See through our lens, see through our lens, understand and understand that this is a black
00:56problem as much as it is a human rights issue.
00:59And that many of us are traumatized by a lot of the recent events.
01:05And this this seems to be the perfect, I won't say perfect opportunity, but it does it
01:13does open up doors for some of us to now stand up.
01:18And I think it has opened the eyes of many to see that this is a reality and it's been
01:27a reality for hundreds of years now.
01:35George Floyd, rest in peace, you know, he's an angel and there's no doubt about it, you
01:44know, because, you know, through his very unfortunate and tragic ending, it's lit this
01:58humongous fire across the world that I don't I don't think anybody anticipated.
02:04Right. So it's not the time for me personally and from an organizational standpoint to
02:10focus on basketball.
02:11It's to get behind this energy and help push this thing forward, knowing that not just
02:18myself, but many of our, you know, players, family, the people we work with are black and
02:28safety's been their challenges.
02:30But I feel as leaders, it's our job to do our part in helping to clear that path for them.
02:40And I think that's what we need to do as leaders, as leaders of this country, as leaders
02:45of this country.
02:46And I think that's what we need to do as leaders, as leaders of this country, as leaders of
02:50this country.
02:51And I think that's what we need to do as leaders, as leaders of this country, as leaders of
02:55this country.
02:56And I think that's what we need to do as leaders, as leaders of this country, as leaders of
02:59this country.
03:00And I think that's what we need to do as leaders, as leaders of this country, as leaders of this
03:03country.
