00:00 Louise, how does it feel to win the Green Community Venture of the Year award?
00:03 I'm absolutely delighted that the efforts of all the leaders and young members have
00:07 been recognised by everyone who voted for us.
00:13 Manny Wastebusters, a brilliant charity, but I'm just delighted that all the young people
00:20 who spent hours cleaning the beach, litter picking around their community, have been
00:26 recognised for all their hard work.
00:27 Can you explain more about the project?
00:31 When the King announced the big help out, I thought it would be a good idea to get involved,
00:38 so I suggested to our committee that we clean the 50 miles of the Moray coastline.
00:43 They all thought it was a great idea, the girls love getting out and about, and they
00:48 really took to it.
00:50 The Holman Brownies especially, the beach was cleaned within an inch of its life every
00:55 time the tide went out and came back in.
00:58 They found some amazing things and loved it.
