00:00 How do you see the future of the club?
00:08 Now we are there. We have to look at ourselves and try to perform in the best possible way,
00:14 win our matches and wait to see what happens. That's what we discussed. It sounds a bit
00:20 repetitive but it's what we have to do.
00:23 I think this league is tremendously demanding and there can be a lot of turns. We all know
00:30 how difficult it is to win games in this league.
00:33 We understand the importance of the game and we understand the importance of,
00:36 particularly at home in these kind of games, to not let our biggest rival or the biggest star
00:45 before us get on top of us. We understand the consequences of that but ultimately it's still
00:53 about us trying to measure ourselves against the teams we want to be challenging on a more
00:58 consistent basis, and it's a great opportunity to do that on Sunday.
01:02 I cannot sit here and say I think they still feel us around. I'm pretty sure Arsenal and City
01:08 see it now as a two-horse race and they might have to say something else publicly,
01:11 but they don't expect themselves to lose two games from now on, I don't think so.
01:18 I don't expect them to do that, if they do it we would be completely silly if we were not around.
01:24 I don't think it will happen, but if it happens then we should be there.
01:29 That means we have to win our football games, starting with West Ham against Napoli and
01:33 Tuis and I'm not 100 per cent sure but maybe similar situations as we are,
01:37 because they lost their last game.
01:39 We need to be positive and we need to be strong and believe that tomorrow we can
01:44 do a good game, good attitude, good approach and go there to compete. We are going to compete again,
01:50 another team that is fighting for the top, to be in the Champions League this season.
01:58 We need to think that we are Chelsea and we need to respect ourselves and do our best
02:04 to try to win the game and be competitive.
02:07 They play high intensity football and they changed their approach a little bit in the season.
02:15 I think they are now more in survival mode and they do pretty well. You can see the development
02:22 in the last couple of games, they get good results, they are hard to beat and
02:26 all the compliments to Vincent and his staff.
02:29 I know we still have a chance, that's all that matters for me.
02:35 And whether it's one or two teams or three teams, that's not too much my concern at the moment.
02:40 I fully understand that every weekend can bring such a shift
02:47 and I'd like it to keep tilting our way of course.
02:51 We've got to go and perform again.
02:52 Decent outfit in Brentford, they had a funny spell themselves and come out of that.
02:57 Thomas is a fellow I like as well, I know him, I've spent a bit of time with him,
03:01 I like what he does, I like how he talks, I like him as a person as well.
03:04 They're a good outfit, so it's not an easy, there's no gimmies in this league.
03:08 So I said to the players immediately, look, or not immediately,
03:11 praise them first and they said right, tomorrow we come in and we get on with business.
