00:00Riley, a great many congratulations. The team got the two points but just tell us about your debut. What an afternoon for you.
00:08Yeah, happy with how I played. I've been working hard in training and I'm just happy to be on the field.
00:13Is that what you've been dreaming about over these last few years? Did it turn out however you thought it would do?
00:18Yeah, definitely I couldn't have done any better really for me. I just worked hard and played well, doing what I normally do.
00:24You took a high ball in the first ten minutes of the game in the corner. Did that give you some early confidence that you needed?
00:31Yeah, definitely. I've been practising in training as well, just getting up on the high ball so as soon as I caught that I got a great game.
00:38And then obviously two tries as well which were the icing on the cake really. Tell us about the first one. There was some work to do when you collected the ball about 15 metres out?
00:48Yeah, definitely. I just saw some space back inside and I just backed myself on the field like that.
00:53And the second one, a kick through from Brodie, just got a touch on it. How much of a touch was it that you got on the downward pressure there on the ball?
01:01Just a fingertip I think, but that's all you need isn't it? A good kick from Brodie so I was happy to get that.
01:06Yeah, just good enough. So when did you find out you were playing today?
01:10I got told on Thursday. I can't let anyone know until we did a captain notice on Saturday and I was happy with it.
01:16Just tell us about how you were feeling before the game today. Obviously you've waited from Thursday and Sunday today. Just what were the nerves like before kick-off?
01:26Yeah, I felt good. I was saying to myself it's another game so I was trying to get into that mental state but yeah, I felt pretty good.
01:34You've just got the feeling now that you want more of it presumably?
01:37Yeah, definitely. Hopefully I can get a few more games to go about this season and keep doing well.
01:41Congratulations on your performance. Just a word on the win. A bit scratchy. Lacking a bit of polish maybe performance wise but you got the two points.
01:49Yeah, the boys are definitely graphing. We had a lot of defence on this trial line. We worked well for each other so yeah, I'm just happy to get the two points.
