00:00 This is not the first time that China's water cannon has hit Philippine sea vehicles.

00:06 From 2019 to yesterday, 8 incidents in the West Philippine Sea were recorded by GMA Integrated News Research.

00:14 Two of these happened near Bajo de Masinloc or Panatagsyol.

00:19 In December of last year, while the BIFAR was carrying out a resupply mission of 3 ships,

00:25 the fishermen of Panatagsyol were stopped and hit by the water of China Coast Guard,

00:32 including some fishermen.

00:35 The next day, 3 ships were carrying out a resupply mission in Ayunginsyol,

00:40 hit by the water of China.

00:43 5 more incidents were recorded in Ayunginsyol.

00:46 In March, the water was pumped in and the resupply ship was damaged,

00:50 first by May 4, when 3 Navy personnel were injured.

00:55 On the other hand, the RORE mission in BRP Sierra Madre was successful,

01:01 which was launched in Ayunginsyol in May 1999.

01:05 China has repeatedly said that it has not yet completed the Philippine missions in the WPS.

01:11 But our government has repeatedly condemned China's violations

01:16 of the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Philippines.
