00:00 We went along for a sneak peek inside Edinburgh's newest coffee shop, opening up on South College Street on Wednesday May 1st.
00:10 Origin Coffee will replace Brew Lab, which have been on the site for some time, and the new owners are excited about getting started.
00:21 This is our first coffee shop in the North, we were really excited about opening in Edinburgh and we chose this site particularly because before us it was a really well loved specialty coffee shop in Edinburgh.
00:35 It was Brew Lab, it's got a brilliant legacy and history in the city and we were just really excited to take that on and move it into the next phase of its life.
00:44 As well as offering its customers delicious coffee to enjoy, Origin Coffee is also training up baristas of the future in their training facilities on site.
00:56 So alongside this being a coffee shop that we serve our beautiful coffee to the local community, we also have a training space.
01:05 So that's opened up to all of our wholesale customers in the city and beyond Edinburgh, so it's a place for them to come and upskill themselves and make sure they're serving and brewing the best coffee they can to their customers.
01:18 And all the staff at Origin Coffee just can't wait to open the doors on the 1st of May.
01:26 So we're here at Origin Edinburgh, their first store in Scotland. A lot of us were here with the team while they were at Brew Lab.
01:36 We're super excited to open the store for you guys tomorrow and introduce some regulars to the new shop and welcome some new guys in as well.
01:46 Everything's set up and ready, we've got the espressos all dialed in and we're super excited to see you.
