Transcript
00:00So, I'm Ethan, I'm Lucy, and we own Ginger and Berry in the High Street in Braggart.
00:17Ginger and Berry is a small cafe and our focus is on really good food, great coffee, and
00:23we are dog-friendly as well.
00:37Since we opened seven months ago, there's been a lot of highs and lows.
00:40I think one of the highs is we got notification we've been nominated for an Oscar Tattler
00:45Award for Coffeehouse of the Year, which is amazing.
00:48Back at the beginning, we had a fabulous lunch party for all of our friends and family for
00:51them to taste the food, and we've had some amazing feedback as well from customers, and
00:56a lot of through paid customers, which makes it all really worth it.
01:10I think there's a few main focuses that we have to try and make this business a success.
01:16One is Evie and I physically being in the shop as many days of the week as we can so
01:20that we're looking at quality food and service that's going on.
01:23We offer a lot of training for our staff, and we really have tried to make a big impact
01:28on social media through our Facebook and our Instagram.
01:35I think one of the things that we've really loved doing over the last seven months has
01:39been our monthly themed nights, and we really want to focus on expanding these and finding
01:44more new creative ways that we can use this space.
01:48I think we've both loved every minute of the last seven months,
01:51and we can't wait to see what the next seven will bring.
