00:07 Um, er, scared, slightly, nervous, but determined.
00:13 Yes, that's the word, determined.
00:15 We need to prove what we've looked at, what we've done over the last year,
00:20 so that people can hear and listen to us.
00:23 We need to be heard.
00:24 County councils need to listen to the residents of the Wellingborough Town Centre.
00:29 It's about time.
00:30 Yes, we've come, we've come really, this is our day in court,
00:34 and we've come to be heard on this matter,
00:38 and to permanently, to find a way to permanently save the trees and the walks,
00:44 the monument that is Wellingborough Walks.
00:47 For, not just for the last, we've had it for at least 100, 200 years,
00:52 we want it for another 200 years, for the people of our town
00:55 to always be able to enjoy, and for our natural environment to flourish.
01:00 We're here today to resolve this matter as much as we can on this day,
01:07 but we're here to be heard.
01:09 We do. The residents want us to be here on their behalf.
01:13 They've raised £70,000 to be here, of their own money, in this time of crisis.
01:19 So, we're here for them, so we'll see what we can do.
01:23 Thank you.
01:25 Save our trees! Save our walks! Save our trees! Save our walks!
