00:00Pictures show scaffolding in place at a new Sheffield supermarket which was threatened with demolition.
00:06The building, which was constructed to house a new co-op in Mosborough, is on the site of the former Royal Oak pub on High Street, demolished without permission in 2021.
00:16And now, builders appear to have started work to change the face of the building after plans for how the structure would look had to be changed.
00:23The shop is still yet to open.
00:25The demolition work on the former pub was later given retrospective planning permission, with an agreement also given to allow the construction of three retail units, including the supermarket.
00:35But Sheffield Council said the building on site did not match the plans that had been agreed, and new ones had to be submitted.
