00:00 >> Looks like you got a pretty good cornerback battle going out there.
00:03 >> Man, it's never ending.
00:04 Competition is the lifestyle we live in the room.
00:06 So it's a blessing to have guys that wanna compete every single day.
00:11 They're passionate and they all wanna get on the field,
00:13 which is a great thing for me to have.
00:15 >> You might have more veterans in your position,
00:17 both in a lot of the other spots.
00:19 And if Juan Banks left, he must have crashed your wife up.
00:24 But talk about that a little bit.
00:27 You have that power, I don't think you're looking at the portal for cornerbacks.
00:32 >> Yeah, Devon chose to do what's best for him and I support him 100%.
00:36 The guys that are here, we're gonna keep stacking the days and keep growing.
00:39 Of course, we all love competition and
00:41 we want the best players out there on the field at all times.
00:44 And the best thing to drive the room is themselves.
00:47 When they can compete and hold each other accountable,
00:48 it just makes my job a little bit easier.
00:50 >> I'm sure when you got here, you were taking a look at film and
00:52 seeing who you had.
00:53 But when you're taking a look at what they did last year, some of your guys,
00:56 what are you doing and maybe teaching them that we can notice that maybe it's a little
01:00 bit different with you coaching them?
01:01 >> Yeah, well, each guy is different individually with their skill asset,
01:05 their arm length and all that type of stuff.
01:07 So it takes time to learn each guy individually to make sure that they're
01:10 doing the right techniques that's best for them.
01:12 To make sure that they enhance their game.
01:14 So each guy we sit down one on one, we talk about the things that they need to
01:17 improve on individually.
01:18 Because then they can have the tools that they need to succeed next season.
01:21 >> Do you like to press a little bit more or
01:22 you like to play off a little bit more?
01:25 >> I'm a little bit aggressive by nature.
01:27 But you know what we got to do is best for the defense in the scheme of the defense.
01:30 Of course down the distance predicate some of those different things.
01:33 But we might have a little bit different style with our coach.
