What is the history of May Day? And why was it celebrated?

00:07 Most people don't know that.
00:09 And what is the history of May Day?
00:11 Well, it was set up as an honour to the workers of the world.
00:16 Karl Marx, when he set up communism and it was adopted by the Soviets,
00:20 that was set aside as the day to celebrate the labours of the working people.
00:29 And how do you think we should celebrate it these days?
00:32 Well, we were just talking about it now.
00:34 Because nobody does proper work anymore, you don't need to have a workers' day.
00:38 Get rid of it.
