PPA to open more ports, terminals before year-end

00:00 The Philippine Ports Authority or PPA is all set to launch more projects to improve port facilities and handling growing passenger traffic
00:08 following the inauguration of the new passenger terminal at Batangas Port led by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
00:16 PPA General Manager Jay Santiago announced plans to build cruise dedicated terminals in Siargao, Coron, Curimau, Salumague and others expected to be completed this year.
00:28 These terminals aim to enhance travel and boost local economies.
00:32 The expansion includes new passenger terminals with localized designs such as Zamboanga's terminal opening this year.
