00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has also revised the minimum wage rate of workers in the Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board.
00:08In the celebration of Labor Day, the President decided that it is time to adjust the salary of the employees.
00:16He also raised the Congress to pass a law for the employment of workers.

00:24The administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is focused on improving the well-being of Filipino workers.
00:34This is proven by President Marcos' call to the wage policymaking bodies to review and adjust the salary of workers.
00:42President Marcos said that he will hold the 122nd Labor Day Commemoration and 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Labor Code of the Philippines yesterday in Malacanang.
00:54As President, I call on the regional tripartite wage and productivity boards to initiate a timely review of the minimum wage rates in their respective regions.
01:06With due consideration to the impact of inflation, amongst others, within 60 days prior to the anniversary of their latest wage order.
01:20I call on the National Wages and Productivity Commission to review its rules to ensure that the boards are able to maintain a regular and predictable schedule of wage review,
01:32issuance, and effectivity to reduce uncertainty and enhance fairness for all stakeholders.
01:40President Marcos also urged the Congress to pass laws for the employment of workers.
01:45I call on Congress to pass laws that will support the attainment of our jobs creation agenda,
01:51including the Enterprise-Based Education and Training Program Law, the Revised Apprenticeship Program Act, and the CREATE MORE Law,
02:01or the Law on Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises to Maximize Opportunities for Reinvigorating the Economy.
02:11There is also the Help for the Survival of the Disadvantaged or Displaced Workers Autopad Program and the TESDA for the Reskilling and Upskilling Program.
02:21Puno Hecotibo also introduced the Overseas Filipino Workers.
02:24It should continue to use the Php 2.8 billion action fund allocated for them.
02:30I have directed the DMW, IDOLE, and all other government agencies to strengthen program coordination and development for the reintegration of returning OFW.
02:43The President also mentioned the Workers' Rehabilitation Center.
02:47This 50 hectare property of the Employees' Compensation Commission in Tanay will serve as a sanctuary and a place of rehabilitation for our workers and soldiers who suffer from work-related injuries.
03:01The government will also help the workers and the agricultural sector affected by El Niño.
03:06In the next few days, we will provide financial assistance to the affected areas of El Niño throughout the country,
03:16including those who were damaged by the floods and those who lost their homes and livelihoods due to the floods.
03:22The government is also continuing to move forward to minimize the effects of the rise in the price of goods.
03:27We are not lacking in maintaining the price of goods and we are ensuring that there is a sufficient supply to avoid the rise in the price of our products.
03:39The President also laid out the programs for the workers from the PhilHealth Love Fund and others.
03:45This year, we expanded the benefits under PhilHealth.
03:51PhilHealth increased the case rates of their benefit packages by 30 percent.
03:58It also increased the Z-benefit package for breast cancer from Php 100,000 to more than Php 1 million.
