Australian police shoot dead 'radicalised' boy, 16, armed with knife
A 16-year-old boy armed with a knife was shot dead by police after he stabbed a man in the Australian west coast city of Perth.The incident occurred in the car park of a hardware store in suburban Willetton on Saturday night.The teenager attacked the man and then rushed at police officers before he was shot, Western Australian premier Roger Cook told reporters on Sunday."There are indications he had been radicalised online," Mr Cook told a news conference."But I want to reassure the community at this stage it appears that he acted solely and alone," he added.

00:48received a triple zero call from a male. That male indicated that he was going to
00:55commit acts of violence. He didn't provide his name nor a location and the
01:02phone call was then terminated. Some minutes later police
01:06received another triple zero call from a person in the vicinity of High Road and
01:11Leech Highway in Willerton stating that a male with a knife was running around a
01:17car park. Police immediately responded to that triple zero call and three officers
01:24attended that location within three minutes of that call. They exited their
01:31vehicle and were confronted with a male alone with a large kitchen knife. Two
01:38officers drew their tasers and one of the officers drew his firearm. They
01:44challenged the male to put down the knife which he did not comply. I have
01:50watched the body worn. He rushed one of the officers who was holding a taser and
01:55the taser was deployed. A second taser was also deployed. Both of them didn't
02:00have the full desired effect and the male continued to advance on the third
02:06officer with the firearm who fired a single shot and fatally wounded the male.
