00:00Do the books not have the energy to explain to the leagues that all of this being out
00:11there like they caught John Tay Porter because of the props.
00:17So removing these things is not going to be beneficial.
00:23It's just not.
00:24I don't.
00:25Why is.
00:26I don't know if you disagree.
00:27But removing these things, the fact that it is regulated is good.
00:34If you want to close down sports books, sports betting is not going to go away.
00:38It existed before FanDuel existed.
00:40That's just the truth.
00:41And we all know that.
00:43Oh, it's completely true.
00:45I mean, it's going to drive everything to the black market.
00:47People want to bet props.
00:49We know they want to bet props.
00:50We know that they have a lot of interest because people feel like they can beat the market
00:56with prop betting unders or overs.
00:58I mean, when this story broke on BVB, we ran a poll as to how many have you ever been under
01:03in a prop bet in.
01:04Ninety five percent of the audience voted yes.
01:06So you can't take away the second side of a market if you're going to offer the yes.
01:12You have to offer the no.
01:13This is one of the big problems I've got with like the specialty bets where you look around
01:17and like, well, someone make the cut.
01:19If you say yes, I have to have a no market.
01:21I got to have the option to bet the other side.
01:23And some books give you that option.
01:25Other books don't.
01:26And that's frustrating to me to have only a one sided market.
01:28So there's a lot to be boiled out here from the sports books perspective with the leagues
01:34as to what's acceptable and what is not.
01:36But the idea of offering just an over bet and not an under bet on a prop market is incredibly
01:41dumb.
01:42And I think cooler heads will prevail once we get to like a real conversation.
01:46I don't think it'll happen.
