00:00Rookie minicamps about to roll in the NFL and of course every team trying to find those
00:06supplementary new guys and who do they supplement?
00:09They supplement the quarterbacks.

00:13Let's look division by division and you can see the trend.

00:19Obviously 53 guys matter, but that one centerpiece guy matters in the NFC East.
00:25And I've said this for a while about the Washington commanders team.
00:28There is nothing particularly wrong with their roster except for the absence of a quarterback.
00:32And if Jalen Daniels, the second overall pick in this draft, if Daniels is an answer, then
00:39Washington immediately leapfrogs.
00:42We know where Philadelphia is obviously with Jalen Hurts.
00:44There's talk there, continuing talk about he needs to be different.
00:47He needs to be a more vocal.
00:49I would argue that Jalen Hurts handles his business just fine.

00:55In New York, Drew Locke is really a candidate to push Daniel Jones.
01:01Brian D'Abel says that's not the case, but whispers say otherwise.
01:07And obviously in Dallas, it's all about Dak Prescott.
01:10This is going to be a massive story, maybe unfortunately for the Cowboys, as he is a
01:14lame duck, lame Dak, no contract right now, no real progress there.
01:20And the distinct possibility that he is a free agent a year from now.
01:24And as much as some cowboy watchers think that Dak Prescott doesn't have it, the idea
01:30of letting him go for nothing makes no sense whatsoever.
01:34In the AFC, the bills are reloading with Josh Allen as the centerpiece guy.
01:40And of course, Cal Coleman and others ecstatic to be part of an offense led by that guy.
01:49In the AFC East as well, same thing with Aaron Rodgers, where there's an argument
01:54that that is as good a roster now as there is in the AFC.
01:58And they built it piece by piece by piece.
02:00Now they just need Aaron Rodgers.
02:02He doesn't have to be a fifth time MVP, but something close would be nice for the Jets.
02:10And in the AFC North, the draft that the Steelers have, does it allow them to close the gap
02:17on the Ravens?

02:19Does it put some distance between them and the Browns?
02:24Does it maybe even allow them to nudge toward the loaded Kansas City Chiefs?
02:31Well, until we know what the Browns have at quarterback and Deshaun Watson just hadn't
02:35done enough there to tell us we know, until we know what Russell Wilson's going to do
02:40in Pittsburgh, and obviously that's brand spanking new, really hard for anybody in the
02:45NFC to make any sort of claim that they're going to catch Patrick Holmes, who in his
02:50own sort of way, a couple of days ago, guaranteed that they're going back for another one, that
02:56the Chiefs are going back for another one.
02:58And because this is a quarterback league, you know what?
