00:15 Dak Prescott on that contract situation yesterday saying,

00:19 I know my business will take care of itself, just controlling what I can control.

00:24 Why has he been able to be so patient?

00:27 I don't play for money.

00:28 I'll leave that to the business people to say what it's worth,

00:30 what they're supposed to give a quarterback of my play.

00:33 It's about controlling what I can control, handle that part, and

00:36 everything else will take care of itself.

00:39 Do you believe that Dak Prescott is worthy of a contract extension this offseason?

00:46 He doesn't wanna play for money.

00:47 Well, Jerry Jones said here, I'm like, great,

00:48 we're gonna restructure you down to the league minimum,

00:50 since you don't care at all about money at this point.

00:52 And we can spend that on Michael Parsons and also CD Lamb, and

00:56 maybe bring in some new football players.

00:57 I always love when they say they don't play for money, but

00:59 they're one of the highest paid players at their position.

01:02 And certainly, look at the bank account over the past couple years for

01:04 Dak Prescott, it's pretty expansive there.

01:07 I think Dak Prescott is a quality quarterback, but

01:09 the question always comes up for Dak.

01:11 Can he perform in the biggest moments?

01:12 And the Dallas Cowboys, as a franchise, never perform good in the biggest moments

01:17 here, as they never make runs to a Super Bowl, which if you wanna be paid like

01:20 the top quarterback in the NFL, your organization wants to know that there's

01:23 a legitimate chance that that money's gonna be spent on a long career and

01:28 a long career of making it to NFC Championship games and Super Bowls.

01:32 So I look at Dak Prescott, and again, obviously, I'm a Phillip Eagles fan,

01:36 the NFC East.

01:37 I don't like the Dallas Cowboys, but I do think he's a quality quarterback.

01:40 But I always see the first part of that quote, I don't play for money, and

01:44 say I've already checked out, this is a nonsense interview right now.
