00:00Guys that are, can't have contact this spring, they're getting better.
00:03Adam Mohammed's getting well, he's giving them some opportunities.
00:06Sam and Cam are veterans, so they've been taking mental reps.
00:08And anytime they can get in, jumping out is good.
00:10Jonah's playing healthy, and obviously, Dan is out as a football player.
00:14What's the expectation for Cam without being able to go through this full spring
00:19full contact?
00:20Just health and being a great teammate.
00:21He's been outstanding.
00:22He's been outstanding, helping.
00:24Anytime I need help with the guys, I'll go talk to him first.
00:26Adam in particular, he's embraced him, embraced Jonah.
00:29And being a leader and coming to his room, really,
00:31because we came into the room, and he's been developed running back.
00:34So he's done a great job, he's been a leader from the jump.
00:37When you talk about Adam Mohammed, and obviously, when you look at him now,
00:42he's super impressive physically.
00:43Were you a little shocked when he went to Apollo,
00:45found out he was somewhat under-recruited,
00:46he didn't have a whole ton of offers?
00:48No.
00:49I saw a football player.
00:50I went to a game, we threw for 200 yards, ran for 100 yards,
00:53picked up a pass for 60 yards.
00:56I'm like, I want him.
00:57He's not going to be a liability.
00:59He works so hard, and he's so passionate about what he does.
01:01You know he's only 17?
01:03He'll be 18 on Friday.
01:04Ooh, baby.
01:06205.
01:07When he gets to 220, it's going to be lunch money.
01:10You know what that means?
01:11Maybe back in high school, give me your lunch money.
01:13No.
01:14Yes, give me your lunch money.
01:15Were you surprised more teams weren't on him?
01:18No, teams were on him.
01:20Cal and Boston College, they offered him before I did.
01:23I was trying to hide out as much as I could,
01:25the moment I could not to offer him, because people read it.
01:27The minute you offer somebody an SMS,
01:29I'm going to offer him now more than ever.
01:30But I always had a great relationship with him.
01:32He knew that.
01:33So I offered him late, because I'm not a coach
01:35who's going to offer things that when you can't,
01:38you've got to try to commit.
01:39You can't tell me to commit.
01:40That's kind of disingenuous.
01:42So I don't over-recruit.
01:43Unless I think you can play in our system,
01:45and it takes a certain play, you've got to catch,
01:47you've got to block, you've got to do a lot of cool stuff.
01:49You can't just drop step.
01:50Let's take some step-by-steps to our offense.
01:52You've got to play receiver sometimes.
01:53Adam catch the ball like a receiver.
01:55His length is incredibly long.
01:57He's pretty tall, so it didn't surprise me
01:59what he's doing right now.
02:00I mean, he's a good guy.
02:01We just had a great room to teach him.
02:03You know, we played Jonah as a freshman.
02:05Jonah's first game, he started up here against Washington.
02:07He's a true freshman.
02:08Graded out 98%.
02:09So that's the expectation, you know,
02:10to come in early in the spring, obviously,
02:12and to be able to learn the offense and compete.
