00:00Those elections that we saw last week, however, are not a very good predictor in terms of
00:05the overall vote share that we're likely to see at a general election. That's because
00:09smaller parties tend to do much better at local elections than they do in a general
00:14election. But, you know, in those areas where Labour moved forward, we saw people turning
00:21to Labour in key parliamentary constituencies that would help Labour build a majority Labour
00:26government after the election. So Labour wants to ensure we have a majority Labour government.
00:32We're not planning for any kind of a coalition with other parties. We want to ensure we have
00:38a majority Labour government because it would be with a majority Labour government that
00:42we could put those plans really quickly into place. Many people are deeply concerned about
00:47the situation currently in Gaza. There is a humanitarian catastrophe there. Labour's
00:53called for an immediate ceasefire. We desperately need one, particularly with the very concerning
00:59news both about the humanitarian situation, but also that there could be an offensive
01:04in Rafa. Labour's continuously said that must not happen. That would be catastrophic.
