Victorian budget 2024: Bendigo misses out on wishlist

00:05Victoria's 2024-2025 budget and now I've just come down to this statue of Bolton Dunstan.

00:14Dunstan is the last Bendigo-based Premier of Victoria until this one, Jacinta Allen,

00:20who's just delivered the very first budget for her time as Premier. So, the big takeaways

00:29is no big GovHubs or Law Courts for Bendigo any time soon with this budget. It's very

00:35much a savings budget for the Labor Government, but there are a few wins for various groups,

00:43including a primary school that's going to get millions of dollars for upgrades. There's

00:47also money being spent on a treatment plant for groundwater in mines. We don't know exactly
