Davao Oriental 2nd district Rep. Cheeno Miguel Almario confirmed on Tuesday, May 7, that China was among the source-countries of the recent cyberattacks on local government websites.

00:51So sometimes, some of the attempts are terroristic in nature.
00:55Some of the attempts also are not.
00:57They just want to show the people that, okay, there's a vulnerability in the system of this
01:04particular cybersecurity infrastructure.
