00:00And in our latest satellite images, we can see that there are still three weather systems that are affecting our country.

00:06The Intertropical Convergence Zone will still bring cloudy skies and a high chance of rain in a large part of Visayas, Mindanao, Palawan, and some parts of Bicol Region.

00:19The Shear Line will still bring rain and cloudy skies, particularly in some parts of Northern Luzon.

00:29While the Amihan or North East Monsoon will still bring light rain, particularly in some parts of Extreme Northern Luzon, the area of Batanes and Baboyan Islands.

00:40And we can see that for now, we are not monitoring any low pressure areas inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

00:48That is why we are not expecting any storms in the next few days.

00:51And generally, this year, in 2024, there were 18 storms that entered and formed inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:00In other parts of our country, including some parts of Luzon and Metro Manila, we are still expecting generally fair weather,

01:09but it means that isolated rain showers and thunderstorms are still possible.

01:13There are isolated light rains here in Ilocos Region.

01:17Here in Luzon, we are expecting that there will be a high chance of light rain showers and thunderstorms,

01:24particularly here in Batanes and Baboyan Islands, while in other parts of the eastern section of Luzon,

01:31including Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon Province, and Bicol Region,

01:40we will still experience cloudy skies with occasional rain showers and thunderstorms,

01:45just like the Sheer Line and Intertropical Convergence Zone.

01:50In the other 10 parts of Luzon, especially in the western section of Luzon,

01:55we are expecting isolated light rains in Ilocos Region and Central Luzon,

01:59while in Manila, isolated rain showers and thunderstorms are still possible.

02:05And in other parts of Southern Luzon, this is the last day of 2024.

02:10The temperature outside is 25-33°C in Tagaygaran up to 27°C,

02:1617-24°C in Baguio while in Metro Manila, 24-31°C,

02:21in Tagaytay, 22-29°C, and in Legazpi, 25-30°C.

02:28And here in Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao,

02:31the Intertropical Convergence Zone, or ITCZ,

02:34will bring cloudy skies with occasional rain showers in Palawan,

02:39and the temperature outside in Kalayaan Islands, 25-31°C,

02:43in Puerto Princesa, 25-32°C.

02:47It will also be rainy, especially in eastern Visayas and other parts of Visayas,

02:52like ITCZ, while here in Panay Islands,

02:55we expect generally fair weather with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.

03:00The temperature outside in Iloilo, 24-32°C,

03:04in Cebu, 26-31°C, while in Tacloban, 25-30°C.

03:11And in ITCZ, a large part of Mindanao will bring cloudy skies

03:16with occasional rain showers,

03:18especially in the eastern section of Mindanao, the Caraga and Dabao regions.

03:24The temperature outside in Zamboanga, 24-32°C,

03:27while in Cagandeoro, 25-30°C,

03:30while in Dabao, 24-32°C.

03:34Meanwhile, we do not have high gale warnings in any part of our country,

03:38even though there is still hope,

03:40especially in the eastern part of Luzon,

03:43where there is still a strong wind,

03:44and it is possible that there will be a chance that there will be a sea wave

03:47that will be experienced by the local communities of our country.

03:51So, be careful, especially if there are thunderstorms

03:55that can cause a strong sea wave.

03:58Tomorrow, the first day of 2024,

04:06in the eastern section of Visayas

04:24that will bring rains here in the eastern section of Luzon.

04:32flash floods, and landslides.

04:36when the shear line comes,

04:37a large portion of Luzon,

04:39including the Metro Manila,

04:41it is possible that the sky will be clouded
