Supermarket Sweep (S1, Ep 39 - Oct 28th 1993)

Today's contestants are Bette & Carole from Nottingham, Mick & Cathy from Bradford, and Ann & Debbie from Luton. It's another colourful episode with Dale and co, with fashions from a bygone era and one player goes like a whippet in the Mini Sweep but could still miss the product due to her haste. Of the teams, one has a story about a pantomime horse, while another had an incident with exploding bread! Two teams have a battle royale in the quiz rounds, leaving the third looking very sheepish indeed with their pitiful score. And it proves a highly contested Super Sweep, but could an incident at the CD section cost one team dear?
