Lo ha spiegato Alfonso Marchianò, presidente del comitato scientifico del 51° Congresso nazionale Sirm - Società italiana di radiologia medica e interventistica, a margine della conferenza stampa organizzata a Milano dalla società scientifica ed intitolata ‘Diagnosi più precoci e precise per meglio utilizzare le terapie: è la radiomica, la nuova frontiera della radiologia medica".
