Thousands of worshippers descend on Portugal's Fatima to pray for peace

Thousands of faithful participated in a candlelight procession on Sunday (May 12) night at Portugal's Fatima shrine, one of Catholicism's most famous sanctuaries, to mark the first of three reported visions of the Virgin Mary before three shepherd children more than 100 years ago.
