00:00 Before watching the video, I remind you that there is more content on the Hotpoint website.
00:05 The previous election of Xin Gumao was a test of cooperation between the United Front and the Action Party.
00:11 After the results were announced, the leaders of the United Front and the Action Party
00:14 have been emphasizing that the cooperation between the two parties is unbiased,
00:17 and even sets the tone for the next general election.
00:20 Is the cooperation between the United Front and the Xinmen and the Xinmen
00:22 the best way to build the future political environment in Malaysia?
00:26 And the mixed election of Xin Gumao has become a lesson for the National Alliance,
00:31 so that they realize that it is not only about the votes of Malays,
00:34 but also the support of non-Malays.
00:36 It is a dream to be a member of the National Alliance.
00:40 For the United Front and the Hotpoint,
00:42 they have been labeled as "Undub" before the election,
00:44 and the opposition has been labeled as "irregular relationship",
00:47 and even looked down on each other.
00:49 After the election, the vice prime minister and the president of the United Front,
00:52 Zha Xi, said that the fact has proven that the cooperation between the United Front and the Action Party is not a problem.
00:57 The relationship between the National Front, the Xinmen and the East Asia-Pacific political parties
01:01 is an important pillar to unite the government.
01:04 The Action Party leader also praised this relationship.
01:07 The leader of the Rocket National Assembly, Nick Min, pointed out that
01:09 this victory shows that the cooperation between the Xinmen and the National Front has begun to work,
01:13 and has laid the foundation for a new cooperation model for the next general election.
01:17 The vice secretary-general of the Rocket, Liu Zhendong, also believes that
01:19 it is necessary to seriously consider
01:21 whether the cooperation between the National Front and the West Alliance
01:24 will become the winning method for the 16th National Election and the election of the Rofo.
01:29 Will the new "Rocket" election really be able to determine the future cooperation model of the West Alliance and the United Front?
01:35 Will the National Front change its political path after seeing the election results,
01:38 and turn from the extreme right to the middle?
01:41 Professor Shazza, a professor of political science at the International Islamic University, pointed out during an interview
01:45 that in the relationship between the United Front and the West Alliance, especially the Action Party,
01:49 it was always the West Alliance that took the initiative.
01:52 Now it seems that the United Front is also gradually accepting this idea,
01:56 which proves that this political marriage is really working.
01:59 Asmi Hassan, a senior political scholar, believes that
02:02 the results of this election also gave the National Front a lesson.
02:05 We can't go the extreme route all at once,
02:07 and we can't lose the support of non-Malay voters.
02:10 Otherwise, the National Front will not be able to win in a mixed election area like the Xin'an.
02:16 Even though we are being fooled by the Amdab issue,
02:22 and it is a bit difficult for us to explain,
02:27 but the truth is that the dialogue between the National Front and the PH is a burden
02:33 to the government along with other parties in Sabah and Sarawak.
02:38 Vice-President and Chairman of the United Front, Amu Zazi, emphasized after the hard work of the election,
02:42 that although the United Front has always been labeled as Amdab,
02:45 it is not a legitimate relationship to work with the Action Party.
02:48 But the fact is that there is no problem in the cooperation between the two parties.
02:51 Professor Shazza, a vice-professor at the International Islamic University,
02:54 believes that the election seems to have proven that this political marriage is really working.
02:58 It appears that this political marriage of convenience is working,
03:02 but where Amno would go from here, either to be more moderate and inclusive,
03:07 or going back to Malay nationalism,
03:09 we can't forget the whole thing that happened a few months back,
03:13 that was led by the Amno Youth leader.
03:16 So it's really at this point where Amno needs to decide where they're going.
03:21 I think that whether or not the United Front will succeed,
03:24 depends on whether or not the United Front believes that
03:27 what it did before the election, including rescuing Nazism and playing KKMart, is right.
03:34 Because if it thinks this direction is right,
03:36 then it will inevitably clash with the West, especially the Action Party.
03:42 Two university political scholars, Huang Jinfa, also believe that
03:44 whether the United Front and the Action Party will get closer and closer,
03:47 actually depends on whether the United Front's future direction will continue to move towards the center.
03:51 And Professor Shazza and Professor Azmi Hassan also pointed out that
03:54 in addition to the United Front, the results of this election
03:56 also made the National Alliance begin to examine its own past extreme religious path,
04:00 hoping to extend the corner to the non-Muslim group,
04:02 and seek the support of Chinese and Indian voters.
04:04 But I'm also thinking, PN might be thinking of that as well.
04:07 Because as I was saying, PN has this major support of the Malays.
04:12 Now the next thing for them to think of is how to get the support of the non-Malays or urban Malays.
04:17 So I'm thinking PN is also thinking of that strategy,
04:20 if they need to moderate themselves to be more inclusive.
04:24 Strategies again, don't turn off the Chinese voters, the Indian voters.
04:28 Do not be rhetoric.
04:30 Even though the past is not there, but the stigma, the negative stigma of their rhetoric is still there.
04:36 So they need to be learned to be moderate, learn like Amno.
04:40 So my advice, if I can say so, to PN is less rhetoric, offer more to the voters.
04:46 Azmi Hassan emphasized that the current National Alliance has begun to realize
04:49 that relying solely on votes from the Malays can only allow them to win the Malaysian electorate.
04:52 A mixed electorate like Hsinku Mao is simply powerless,
04:55 and is not enough to allow them to win the central government.
04:57 So he suggested that the National Alliance must adjust its strategy, and cannot take any more extreme routes.
05:01 Azmi Hassan also believes that the current united government of the New Alliance, National Alliance and East Malaysia
05:06 is actually the best federal government in our country at present.
05:09 And this model may continue until the 16th general election.
05:12 Yes, I think what currently the cooperation is reminiscent of what Barisan International before this.
05:18 Except now, Amno is not so dominant.
05:20 So yes, I think this is the best federal government we have.
05:23 Not only DAP and Amno is working together, but the Borneo state is also working together to form one federal government.
05:30 I think that's very important.
05:31 So for Amno to hold this cooperation, they need to be more moderate.
05:35 They did not need to be more extreme, or more conservative like PAS or BERSATU.
05:41 Be moderate, do not scare off the Chinese voters.
05:44 That I think that's the key to upheld the cooperation until GE16.
05:50 So perhaps it is the best model right now because I'm also thinking within the united government,
05:55 the three main parties are DPRK, DAP and Amno.
05:59 So Amno represents that Malay party within the united government.
06:03 So this is like you said, maybe the best model.
06:06 Although the cooperation with West Gate and National Government has begun to work,
06:13 but whether such a cooperation can continue,
06:16 the international Islamic University's Vice Professor Shazza still has some reservations.
06:20 He thinks that it is a bit early to say that such a cooperation can continue until the 16th general election.
06:26 He thinks that there are still many voices within the Uyghur community,
06:30 some even still love the Uyghur-led cooperation model.
06:34 So in the next few years, the united government still has to face certain challenges.
