00:04 We've seen robot dogs helping in disaster zones and robots building cars,
00:08 but have you ever seen a robot in space?
00:10 This is what its developers say could be the astronaut assistants of the future.
00:14 Humanoid robots that move through space stations just like humans.
00:18 They're being developed by Aerospace Robotic Research Center, a Chinese company,
00:22 and recently they showed off the goals they're aiming for with these bots.
00:25 The humanoid robot is set to help astronauts move cargo and maintain a space station from within.
00:30 This will give astronauts more time for scientific duties and less mundane manual labor.
00:35 However, these weren't the only robots they showed off.
00:37 They also revealed what they call a ground following robot,
00:40 which will follow astronauts around on the lunar surface.
00:43 This will be integral if space agencies around the world begin to gear up for moon landings once again.
00:48 The company also revealed an on-orbit service robot, something they say is more special.
00:53 It's a multi-legged automaton that will crawl around on the outside of a spacecraft,
00:57 space station, or satellite looking for and repairing any damage.
