00:00 Yeah, is it nice to come back to your characters, you know, there's the lady, or Queen Charlotte,
00:05 I'm sorry, the Queen Charlotte prequel series. Did that inform or did that change how you
00:09 guys played your characters going into season three?
00:12 We had this mad thing, didn't we, where we were finishing off season three.
00:18 Season two.
00:19 No, season two. No, we were doing Queen Charlotte and season three at the same time.
00:26 But having just finished season two.
00:28 Exactly.
00:29 So you just, that's right. So it went end of season two, Queen Charlotte, season three.
00:35 So there was overlap and brain overlap. So you'd sort of, I would track sort of where
00:42 I was by who was in whose makeup chair was I sitting. Okay, oh, okay, that'll be Queen
00:48 Charlotte. And then you get on set and it's like, do I know this information? Do that?
00:53 You'd have to kind of try and keep your stories running parallel, but not bleeding over into
00:58 each other.
00:59 But it's certainly, having the two together certainly informed some of the scenes that
01:05 happen in three. And that's really lovely.
01:07 Yeah. And moving forward, it's lovely for us to have those secrets now be revealed about
01:14 our characters. And we've done a deeper dive and to have the fans come along with us.
01:19 Do you feel elements from the characters have kind of bled into your personalities at all?
01:23 Absolutely not.
01:24 How dare you?
01:25 I mean, good golly.
01:26 Yeah, no.
01:27 I hope not. I think I'd be chucked out my house.
01:30 Well, see, that's the thing.
01:32 Queen Charlotte's starting to appear.
01:34 Having someone at home that goes, yes, that's all very well, but where's my clean pants?
01:39 Yeah, exactly.
01:40 Or, you know, you've burnt the sausages again.
01:42 Hum down.
01:43 Humbling.
01:44 Humbling, exactly.
01:45 It's properly grounding.
01:46 Do you feel like over the seasons as they've progressed, do you feel like your characters
01:51 have, I don't know, I feel like this season we kind of dig more than ever into kind of
01:54 like they have their own character arc, they have their own stories that we get to explore.
01:57 Like, I don't know, do you feel like that's kind of been an upward trend over the course
02:01 of the series?
02:02 I think the more you know about someone, the more story there is in their baggage, you
02:08 know, their on screen baggage that the audience is following along with you as well.
02:13 So I think it's always going to get deeper and richer the more you're in it.
02:18 And the thing that we always hold on to is that the audience is absolutely, you know,
02:23 lockstep with us.
02:25 They're following everything that's going on.
02:27 And they've been invested in these characters way before we started playing them.
02:31 Do you know what I mean?
02:32 The books were really, really big before.
02:35 So I think there's a responsibility there to kind of really be in these characters and
02:40 nurture them and, what's the word I'm looking for, you know, champion them.
