00:00 Well we've lots of new classes in the sheep section and the cattle and our entries are well up so it's great.
00:05 We're going to have four full days of competitions. The beef cattle are being judged today, sheep are full classes of sheep today.
00:12 Dairy cattle on Friday and then our championship classes on Saturday.
00:15 The pigs and the goats are always a very popular part of the show and we've our milking competition with the goats as well.
00:20 Great place to visit. And then the equine section. Equine we have more classes than ever for horses and ponies.
00:27 And a full programme throughout the four days. We've our national show jumping going on here first thing this morning.
00:32 But there's everything from pony club games to the Hackney private driving, the Clyde sales.
00:39 There's just so many different sections in the equine.
00:41 It is great to have the pottery back. We've over 500 entries this year in our pottery section and it's great for the industry to be here and be represented at Balmoral Show.
00:49 There's a great buzz about the marquee. I was with them last night as they were doing their final preparations and they're just delighted to be back.
00:55 We've changed up our children's area this year. So we have some off road driving for the children.
01:00 Mini landovers looks fantastic. Unfortunately, I'm too old to be able to participate, but we'd love to.
01:05 We have our kids farm, a great, great attraction. Climbing wall with live music over there.
01:10 We've our show stage just beside us here. Full programme throughout the week.
01:14 And our sustainability village, which is new for 2024. Visitors to the show will be able to find out how they can do their bit to help the environment and maybe save on their energy bills.
