00:42 In the Senate, other issues can be raised regarding the unorganized oral health.

00:47 Studies have shown that gum disease,

00:50 missing teeth and other oral health issues

00:54 brought about by poor brushing habits and lack of plaque removal

00:58 increased a person's risk of stroke.

01:01 If buying toothpaste is already hard for many Filipinos,

01:05 how about getting a dentist?

01:08 So in discussing the amendment of the Universal Health Care Law in the Senate,

01:13 it was questioned why oral health benefits are not included in the 30-year peel health.

01:20 Can we get an explanation? Why?

01:23 Isn't that part of the overall health of the Filipinos, Mr. President?

01:27 The oral health benefits of the peel health benefits were also limited.

01:32 Limited surgeries like tooth extraction or cleft lip or cleft palate surgeries
